Join us on October 17th for a journey through Irvington’s history
You are invited to take a journey with the Steamboat Era Museum through Irvington’s rich history, from its colonial days to now. This afternoon is our thank-you for the support that makes our work possible.
Saturday, October 17 | 1:30 – 4:00 PM | Email director@steamboateramuseum.org for more information
Join us as we discover the people, places, and stories that shaped our community, from its maritime roots at the Irvington Steamboat Wharf to its historic business district where the general store and Lancaster National Bank buildings still stand.
Over light refreshments, you’ll also have the chance to meet with our Executive Director, Owen Lanier, and hear firsthand about the museum’s success and exciting plans ahead before taking a walking tour of Steamboat Road. We’d love to have you join that conversation.
Your support is what keeps this history alive. Members and donors like you make every exhibit we open, every story we preserve, and every visitor we welcome possible. This tour is our way of saying thank you.
Space is limited, so RSVP by October 13
